She highlighted the importance of understanding addiction beyond medical and psychological aspects, noting the impact of technology on youth education and social relationships. The center aims to conduct applied research and provide data analysis to inform public policy recommendations and prevention strategies. It will foster collaboration among academia, public institutions, health and education specialists, NGOs, and international partners. Grădinaru expressed hope that the center will become a key resource in Romania for addressing youth addiction issues.
