The First Lady of Romania, Mirabela Grădinaru, attended an international conference in Chișinău focused on online safety and the digital environment's impact on children's mental health. She emphasized the need for a collaborative approach to protect children in the digital space, highlighting that technology can be beneficial but also harmful without proper guidance. Grădinaru pointed out the challenges parents face in defining safe boundaries for their children in today's digital age. The conference gathered national and international experts to discuss the implications of digital media on youth well-being and the importance of involving young people in policy-making. Grădinaru also met with Moldova's President Maia Sandu during her visit.
