MIPE: PNRR absorption is estimated at over 90% for grants and 95% for loans

The Ministry of Investments and European Projects (MIPE) reports that the absorption rates for the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) are over 90% for grants and 95% for loans. Final results will be available after submitting the sixth payment request to the European Commission, which will include data from reform and investment coordinators. The PNRR Dashboard will be updated accordingly. Currently, efforts are focused on closing the fifth payment request and preparing the sixth. Romania's total PNRR allocation is 20.11 billion euros, with 13.57 billion euros in grants and 6.54 billion euros in loans. The final assessment of project implementation will occur after all administrative procedures are completed.
