Four individuals were detained in Iași for trafficking minors, who were recruited from a social assistance center and forced into prostitution. The victims faced physical and psychological pressure, including threats and assaults, to comply. Investigators revealed that a 17-year-old exploited the vulnerability of other minors, while two additional minors were also involved in recruiting and exploiting victims. The criminal activities included transporting victims to clients and profiting from their exploitation. Evidence was seized during raids across 14 locations, leading to the detention of four adults and judicial control for two minors. The detained individuals will face a judge to determine potential arrest warrants.
