Ministry of Health needs 800 million lei. Cseke Attila: No more time to wait
Interim Health Minister Cseke Attila emphasized the urgent need for a budget revision to prevent disruptions in emergency services in Romania. He highlighted that without additional funding, emergency departments and ambulance services may cease operations. The required funding for the Ministry of Health institutions is nearly 800 million lei, with immediate needs for November totaling 227 million lei. Cseke pointed out that the interim government lacks the authority to make necessary budget adjustments, and only a fully mandated government can address these financial issues. The designated Prime Minister has indicated that budget revisions are a priority if he gains parliamentary approval.
