The interim Minister of Transport, Radu Miruță, has signed an order ensuring that users of the TollRo electronic toll system will not face penalties due to application malfunctions. This decision follows discussions with transport representatives regarding issues observed in the TollRo application. Miruță emphasized that innocent users should not be penalized for problems that the National Road Company should have resolved earlier. The TollRo platform saw significant traffic in its first 12 hours, with millions of visitors and numerous transactions, which led to system overloads and malfunctions. The minister's order clarifies that users will not be held accountable for legal obligations if the application fails.
