Ministrul Finanțelor anunță „una dintre cele mai puternice suprasubscrieri pentru o emisiune în lei din ultimele luni”

The interim Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, reported a significant oversubscription in a recent state bond auction, with demand five times higher than the offered amount. The auction for three-year bonds had a total demand of approximately 2.5 billion lei against an offer of 500 million lei. The Ministry allocated around 1 billion lei at an average yield of 6.81%, below secondary market levels. Nazare highlighted this as one of the strongest oversubscriptions in recent months, noting a positive trend in bond yields across relevant markets. He emphasized the importance of maintaining responsible fiscal policies to enhance investor confidence and reduce financing costs.
