Ministrul Educației vine cu precizări despre concursul de admitere la liceu din 2027: „Prevederea există în lege din 2023”

The Minister of Education, Mihai Dimian, clarified that the possibility of a separate high school admission exam starting in 2027 is not a new proposal but is mandated by the 2023 Education Law. He emphasized that the law allows high schools to organize an admission contest for up to 50% of available places. Dimian noted that the Ministry is obligated to implement this law and that the details of the admission process will be determined by the school's administration. He expressed his personal ambivalence towards the exam but acknowledged the existence of reasonable arguments for it. Dimian mentioned potential parliamentary support for delaying the implementation of this provision.
