Ministrul Educației: Nu voi propune Guvernului reducerea sprijinului anual acordat elevilor prin bursele sociale

Interim Education Minister Mihai Dimian announced that he will not propose reducing annual social scholarships for students, aiming to increase eligibility thresholds instead. He emphasized that raising the income threshold by about 7% could lead to more beneficiaries. Dimian clarified that the public consultation project addressed both the duration and minimum monthly amount of scholarships. He highlighted the importance of social scholarships in preventing school dropout and supporting disadvantaged students. The public consultation period has ended, and he will consider feedback before submitting his proposal to the government.
