Ministrul Educației, la Interviurile Digi24.ro: Cu ce provocări începe noul an școlar și ce mesaj are pentru elevi
The new school year in Romania begins with ongoing renovation issues, missing textbooks for ninth graders, and a shortage of teachers in key subjects. Education Minister Mihai Dimian highlighted that students will have to wait for printed textbooks until mid-October, while electronic versions will be available later. Approximately 700 schools are still under renovation, requiring students to learn in rented spaces or other schools. Although the number of schools with inadequate sanitation facilities has decreased, 74 still have non-compliant toilets. Despite a high number of candidates for teaching positions, there is a significant shortage of teachers in physics and technical subjects. Dimian encouraged students to value their education and respect their teachers.
