Ministrul Economiei intenţionează să reorganizeze compania Romarm şi cele 15 filiale într-un holding industrial integrat în domeniul apărării

The interim Minister of Economy, Irineu Darău, announced plans to reorganize Romarm SA into an integrated industrial holding in the defense sector by the end of the year. He emphasized the need for Romarm to become competitive and modern, moving away from reliance on state subsidies. Currently, Romarm acts mainly as a commercial intermediary with less than 20% stake in most subsidiaries. Darău stated that a decision on the reorganization will be made soon, with a 'white paper' outlining options to be published shortly. He also noted that the current structure does not comply with existing legislation and that changes are necessary for the future of Romania's defense industry.
