Ministrul Economiei: Administrațiile locale trebuie să se implice mai mult în promovarea litoralului

The interim Minister of Economy, Irineu Darău, emphasized the need for local administrations to better promote the Romanian coastline and collaborate with private sectors for sustainable development. He addressed the challenges faced by the HoReCa industry due to economic crises, noting a decrease in consumption similar to the pandemic's second half. Darău proposed restoring two measures to stimulate the industry, including incentives for attracting foreign tourists and flexible work contracts. Additionally, he highlighted the establishment of a national tourism organization and the introduction of a digital accommodation form as key objectives for the ministry.
