Ministrul de Externe: Încetarea focului în regiunea Mării Negre este o prioritate
Romania's interim Foreign Minister Oana Ţoiu emphasized the need for a ceasefire in the Black Sea region, highlighting the importance of food security and condemning Russia's use of grain as a weapon. She noted recent attacks on ships in the area and expressed condolences for the victims. Ţoiu pointed out that the Black Sea is crucial for global food supply, with Romania being a major exporter of wheat and oilseeds. Discussions are ongoing to enhance transit capacity and energy infrastructure security. Romania is also collaborating with Bulgaria and Turkey on demining efforts and aims to increase its own gas production to reduce reliance on Russian imports.
