Ministrul Cseke Attila face precizări despre consilierii locali și județeni angajați în instituțiile publice: „Nu există incompatibilitate”

The Minister of Development, Cseke Attila, clarified that there is no incompatibility between being a local or county councilor and a contractual employee in public administration. He emphasized that recent modifications to the Administrative Code do not create such conflicts, countering misinformation circulating in administrative circles. An analysis validated by the National Integrity Agency supports this view, and the minister has sent clarifying documents to prefectures for uniform interpretation. He also noted that incompatibilities are governed by a special law, Law 161/2003, which takes precedence over the general provisions of the Administrative Code. Cseke Attila addressed concerns regarding local officials who may have resigned due to these misunderstandings, stating that each case will be reviewed if reported.
