The Estonian Court of Auditors highlighted serious issues with public fund usage, particularly regarding a contract with Datasel S.R.L., which was unable to fulfill its obligations. Despite the urgency for artillery supplies in Ukraine, the company faced delays and ultimately delivered unusable shells. The current head of the Defense Investment Center criticized the contract, stating it should never have been signed. Estonia's defense spending has significantly increased since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, raising concerns about potential misuse of state funds.
