Romania has received over 301 million euros from the PNRR, including 298.6 million in grants and 2.6 million in loans. This funding was previously suspended by the European Commission. The Finance Minister emphasized the importance of these funds for budget deficit financing and public resource management. Romania has now collected approximately 13.27 billion euros through the PNRR. The minister highlighted the need for rigorous evaluation of investments and reforms to assess their economic impact and sustainability. This evaluation is crucial for preparing the 2027 budget and ensuring effective use of European funds.
