The new ministers of Luca Niculescu's government are officially taking office after a six-month interim period. Premier Niculescu will attend five handover ceremonies, while Marian Neacșu has already assumed leadership at the Ministry of Internal Affairs from Cătălin Predoiu. Other ministries are also undergoing leadership changes, with new appointments including Alexandru-Mihai Ghigiu at the Ministry of Investments and Sebastian-Dănuț Neculăescu at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The new cabinet received parliamentary approval with 280 votes, concluding a political crisis that began with the dismissal of Ilie Bolojan's government in May 2026. The new cabinet consists of PSD and independent ministers, having already held its first meeting.
