Ministra Buzoianu: Programul Casa Verde va finanța doar sisteme de stocare a energiei

The Casa Verde program will be modified to focus solely on energy storage systems, excluding photovoltaic panels. Minister Diana Buzoianu stated that the program aims to install at least 200 MWh of storage capacity. The shift is due to previous funding imbalances favoring solar panels over battery investments. The new program will prioritize competitive offers and co-financing from beneficiaries. This change addresses Romania's need for energy storage to manage peak consumption, especially in the evening when solar production decreases.
