The interim Minister of Health, Cseke Attila, highlighted the urgent need for a budget rectification, warning that without new funds, emergency services may cease operations. He stated that nearly 800 million lei are required by year-end, with 227 million lei needed immediately for November. Cseke emphasized that he has exhausted all legal avenues for funding and that only a fully mandated government can make necessary financial adjustments. The interim government, in place since May, lacks the authority to adopt urgent budget changes. Premier-designate Luca Niculescu has prioritized budget rectification and preparation for 2027 if confirmed by Parliament. November's funding is critical, with additional needs projected for December.
