Ministerul Mediului: Lucrările de regularizare a râului Aiudel avansează

The Aiudel River regularization project is progressing, with an investment of nearly 115 million lei aimed at flood risk reduction and infrastructure protection. Works are currently underway on the right bank upstream of the A10 highway, focusing on foundations and retaining walls. The project includes approximately seven kilometers of riverbed regulation and new bank protections. The total investment is 114.855 million lei, funded by the National Administration of Romanian Waters and the state budget, with a completion timeline of 36 months. This initiative will protect over 1,970 residents directly and 19,000 indirectly, along with numerous buildings and agricultural lands.
