Ministerul Mediului a emis acordul pentru finalizarea hidrocentralei Cornetu-Avrig

The Ministry of Environment has granted an environmental approval for the completion of the Cornetu-Avrig hydroelectric project on the Olt River, which is expected to generate 156.8 GWh of renewable energy annually. The project, initiated in 1989, includes five steps and aims to finalize the Câineni and Lotrioara steps while ensuring minimal environmental impact. The approval process involved public consultations and considers existing infrastructure, with measures to protect historical sites and monitor environmental effects during construction and operation.
