Ministerul Mediului a emis acordul de mediu pentru finalizarea hidrocentralei Cornetu-Avrig

The Ministry of Environment has granted an environmental agreement for the completion of the Cornetu-Avrig hydroelectric project on the Olt River, which is expected to generate 156.8 GWh of renewable energy annually. The project involves finishing works on two hydroelectric steps and includes measures to minimize environmental impact. It also considers existing infrastructure and aims to protect historical sites. Public consultations were held, and feedback was received from various stakeholders.
