This follows a previous 20% reduction in August, aimed at protecting citizens' purchasing power amid rising international prices. The new adjustment results in a decrease of 701.07 lei per 1,000 liters, setting the effective excise at 2,103.22 lei per 1,000 liters. The measure is temporary and reflects recent market dynamics, with the Ministry committed to ongoing monitoring and adjustments based on international price trends.
