Ministerul Finanțelor: Acciza la motorinã rãmâne redusã cu 25% și în perioada 1–15 octombrie 2026

The Ministry of Finance announced the continuation of a 25% temporary reduction in the excise duty on standard diesel for the period of October 1-15, 2026. This decision reflects ongoing pressures in the fuel market and aims to mitigate the impact of rising fuel prices on the population and the economy. The reduction translates to a decrease of 701.07 lei per 1,000 liters, maintaining the effective excise duty at 2,103.22 lei per 1,000 liters. The mechanism for this reduction is based on international price fluctuations and is reassessed biweekly. Authorities will keep monitoring fuel price trends.
