Ministerul Finanţelor a prelungit reducerea de 25% a accizei la motorină până în 30 septembrie

The Ministry of Finance has extended the 25% reduction in diesel excise tax for the period of September 16-30, 2026, due to rising diesel prices. This decision follows a biweekly evaluation under Law no. 162/2026, aimed at addressing the crisis in the oil market. The reduction translates to a decrease of 701.07 lei per 1,000 liters, helping to mitigate the impact of fuel costs on the economy and consumer prices. The excise tax will remain at 2,103.22 lei per 1,000 liters during this period. The mechanism will continue to adapt based on international price fluctuations and aims to protect the economy and consumers from rising costs.
