Ministerul Finanţelor a împrumutat luni 695 de milioane de lei de la bănci

The Ministry of Finance borrowed 695 million lei through a bond issuance with an average yield of 7.14%. The nominal value was 500 million lei, with banks subscribing 995 million lei. A supplementary auction is scheduled to raise an additional 104.3 million lei. In October 2026, the Ministry plans to borrow 5.8 billion lei from commercial banks, which is lower than the previous month's target. This funding will be used for refinancing public debt and covering the state budget deficit.
