The nominal value of the additional issuance was 117 million lei, with banks submitting offers for 45 million lei. In September 2026, the Ministry plans to borrow 7.2 billion lei from commercial banks, with potential additional amounts from non-competitive offers. This borrowing aims to refinance and repay public debt and finance the state budget deficit.
