Ministerul Finanțelor a împrumutat 15 milioane pe 11 august

On August 11, the Ministry of Finance borrowed an additional 15 million lei from banks, following a previous auction where it raised 809.3 million lei through benchmark bonds. The bonds have a residual maturity of 104 months and an average yield of 6.82% per year. The nominal value of the additional issuance was 121.4 million lei, with banks submitting offers for the full amount. The Ministry plans to borrow 7.2 billion lei from commercial banks in August 2026, which is lower than the previous month's target of 8.5 billion lei, aimed at refinancing public debt and covering the state budget deficit.
