Ministerul Finanțelor a împrumutat 1,13 miliarde lei de la bănci pe 13 august

The Ministry of Finance borrowed nearly 1.13 billion lei from banks through two state bond issues. It raised 200 million lei via bonds with a 168-month maturity at a 7.03% yield. Additionally, it secured 929.7 million lei through treasury certificates with an 11-month maturity at a 6.09% yield. A supplementary auction is scheduled to attract another 30 million lei. For August 2026, the ministry plans to borrow 7.2 billion lei, which is 1.3 billion less than the previous month’s target, aimed at refinancing public debt and covering the state budget deficit.
