The Ministry of Energy has launched a €500 million call to support investments in new solar energy production capacities with integrated storage for public entities. Applications will be accepted online from September 28, 2026, until November 20, 2026, or until the budget is exhausted. Eligible applicants include various public institutions and organizations, which must demonstrate that the investment will reduce energy costs for public services. The funding covers up to 100% of eligible expenses, with a maximum of €10 million per beneficiary. The evaluation of projects will occur from November 23, 2026, to March 2, 2027, with contracts starting from February 8, 2027.
