Ministerul Energiei propune trei perimetre eoliene offshore, cu o capacitate de 3,1 GW, pentru a putea fi concesionate în Marea Neagră. Proiectul, publicat cu o întârziere de peste 16 luni

The Romanian Ministry of Energy has published a list of three offshore wind farm areas in the Black Sea, aiming for 3.1 GW capacity by 2035. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance Romania's energy security and diversify its energy mix. The offshore wind potential in the Black Sea is significant, with estimates suggesting a total capacity of 76 GW. The development of these wind farms is expected to attract substantial investments and create jobs, contributing between 16 and 27 billion euros to the economy. The first offshore energy production could begin by 2030, pending legal and funding processes.
