The restoration aims to enhance the building's aesthetic by removing unsightly additions and improving visibility from the surrounding area. Other museums will also receive funding for rehabilitation efforts. The villa, which has a complex history including use by the former Securitate, will be accessible to the public post-restoration. The project is part of a broader initiative to preserve cultural heritage in Romania.
