Interim Defense Minister Radu Miruță announced the signing of three new ammunition contracts with Uzina Mecanică Sadu, valued at 9.88 million lei. These contracts aim to equip the Romanian Army with domestically produced products and provide work for Sadu's employees during its revitalization process. Miruță highlighted the importance of these contracts in supporting critical factories in Romania, citing Sadu as a successful example of revitalization. Additionally, a contract was signed for the American company USBL to produce a new range of ammunition at the Sadu 2 facility.
