The misinformation mimics an official notice supposedly from the Ilfov Military Center, calling a young person for incorporation in 2026. The Ministry emphasized that this is a manipulation attempt, as current military exercises only involve reservists already registered. Mandatory military service has been suspended since 2007, and any recruitment would only occur under specific legal conditions, such as wartime. Citizens are advised to verify information through official channels to avoid spreading panic.
