The Ministry of National Defense plans to digitize 68 public services, allowing citizens and businesses to submit requests and pay fees online. The project, costing approximately 134 million lei, includes data centers in Bucharest and Sibiu. Funded mainly by European funds, it aims to enhance accessibility and efficiency in military services. Users will benefit from electronic signatures, online payments, and AI assistance. The implementation is set for 36 months, targeting 290,000 users annually by 2029. The infrastructure will ensure data security and continuity in case of incidents.
