Ministerul Afacerilor Externe rechemă în țară trei consuli generali ai României

The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the recall of consuls from Sao Paulo, Nantes, and Frankfurt due to their failure to establish new consulates. The decision was made during a government meeting and approved by interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan. The consuls were appointed in 2024 with the main task of opening new consulates, but none were operational by the agreed deadlines. They have up to 90 days to return to Romania.
