„Mini-creierele” care au uimit oamenii de știință! Au supraviețuit
Researchers have successfully maintained brain organoids in the lab for nearly six years, revealing insights into their biological aging and development. These structures, derived from stem cells, mimic certain brain tissue characteristics and retain a form of 'memory' regarding their age. The study published in Nature highlights that the organoids exhibit similarities to human brain maturation processes. Notably, older cells retain developmental information even when reassigned, suggesting an intrinsic biological clock. This discovery could significantly enhance our understanding of brain development and neurological diseases.
