The IX National Environmental Symposium "Țara Abrudului - Aur și Oameni" focused on sustainable mining, AI in environmental crime investigation, and promoting gold from Apuseni as a tourist brand. Cupru Min Abrud co-organized the event, which took place over three days in Ciuruleasa, Alba County, attracting specialists from Romania and Moldova. Discussions included environmental rehabilitation post-mining and the importance of modern technologies to minimize ecological impact. The symposium also featured local artistic performances and was organized by multiple institutions, with plans for a tenth edition next year.
