Militarii au reușit să disloce stânca Pârjoaia de pe brațul Bala al Dunării
The controlled detonation of the Pârjoaia rock was successfully completed to increase water flow to the Cernavodă Nuclear Power Plant. Following the explosion, two barges were loaded with rock fragments for scuttling to redirect the river's course. Daily monitoring of hydraulic effects will determine the continuation of operations. The intervention is crucial due to the predicted low water flow in the Danube, which could lead to the shutdown of Unit 2 at Cernavodă. Authorities are also conducting dredging works to facilitate water access to the plant.
