Militarii au detonat astăzi stânca Pârjoaia pentru a devia cursul Dunării! MApN a folosit de această dată 100 de kilograme de explozibil - WOWbiz.ro

Today, the Romanian military successfully detonated the Pârjoaia rock using 100 kilograms of explosives to redirect the Danube River. This operation follows an unsuccessful attempt on Sunday with only 30 kilograms used. The goal is to channel the river towards the Cernavodă power plant, with dredging vessels set to assist in the process. Former energy minister Radu Miruță highlighted the ongoing energy management issues in Romania, linking them to the current situation on the Danube. He noted that the closure of Unit 1 at the Cernavodă plant has reduced energy production amid high demand due to the heatwave, raising concerns about the potential shutdown of Unit 2.
