Thousands of pilgrims are expected at Nicula Monastery from August 13-15 for the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God, featuring processions and services. The monastery is preparing to welcome visitors from various regions, with the highlight being the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary. A significant event will be the traditional pilgrimage on August 14, starting from Gherla. The abbot invites all to join in the celebrations, which will include various religious services throughout the three days. The monastery, one of the oldest in Romania, has a rich history dating back to the 16th century.
