Archaeological excavations at the Glina-Bălăceanca site near Bucharest have revealed ancient homes, storage pits, and a burned house from the early Bronze Age. The month-long campaign uncovered thousands of artifacts, including well-preserved structures and items dating back over 7,000 years, shedding light on prehistoric communities. Key findings include a Gumelnița culture dwelling and food storage pits linked to the Boian and Gumelnița cultures. The research team, comprising 35 students and specialists, aims to reconstruct the life of these ancient communities and will showcase selected artifacts in future exhibitions.
