Mihnea are 16 ani și e printre cei mai buni din lume la inteligență artificială: „În România avem foarte multe resurse pentru AI”

Mihnea Teodor Stoica, a 16-year-old student from Bucharest, won a silver medal at the International AI Olympiad, contributing to Romania's fourth place among 108 countries. He began studying algorithms at age eight and has consistently excelled in national AI competitions. Mihnea is organizing RAISE, a conference for students interested in AI, scheduled for October 17 at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. He believes Romania has ample resources for AI development, despite concerns about the education system's competitiveness. Mihnea sees potential in AI but emphasizes the need for caution in its evolution, comparing it to nuclear energy. He plans to study abroad and hopes to return to Romania or stay in Europe after graduation.
