Mihai Alexandru Ghigiu, nominated for Minister of Investments and European Projects, plans to start with an analysis of EU fund absorption and an internal audit. He emphasizes the need to address payment delays to beneficiaries and accelerate the implementation of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). Ghigiu aims to identify funding sources for unfinished projects and streamline procedures in ongoing European programs. He also highlights the importance of effective communication within the ministry and with beneficiaries. Additionally, he intends to advance the Just Transition Program and prepare for future funding opportunities from 2028 to 2034.
