PSD deputy Mihai Fifor criticized Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan for blocking the new Salary Law, claiming it has led Romania into a political and economic deadlock. Fifor urged Bolojan to resign, stating that the failure to submit the law to Parliament is a significant failure. He emphasized that the current situation is detrimental to the well-being of millions of Romanians, particularly in health and education sectors. Fifor affirmed that PSD will oppose any salary cuts or unjustified caps, highlighting the unacceptable impact on healthcare and education professionals. He reiterated that PSD previously increased salaries to prevent the exodus of specialists and will not allow the destruction of public systems.
