Mihai Enache, leader of AUR deputies, announced the blocking of a legislative initiative by PNL senators aimed at selling state assets to cover legal disputes, including one with Pfizer. He criticized the urgency of the project, which would allow the government to sell public goods to settle debts from vaccine orders. Enache emphasized that the costs should be borne by those who ordered the vaccines, not the Romanian people. AUR has proposed delaying discussions until further explanations are provided by the Ministry of Finance and the Fiscal Council.
