The company currently has only 3,000 lei available, insufficient for salary payments. Despite warnings sent to the Prime Minister and the interim Minister of Transport, no action has been taken. Artimon highlighted that delays in salary payments could lead employees to take various actions, including legal action. He emphasized the need for continued subsidies for Metrorex, which operates under challenging conditions and faces a significant shortage of staff, leading to unpaid leave and excessive overtime. The company is currently understaffed by nearly 1,000 employees, affecting its operations.
