Bucharest Metro passengers may experience longer wait times due to ongoing train checks and repairs, particularly on Line 2. Currently, only 15 trains are operational instead of the usual 18, as seven CAF trains are under maintenance. Metrorex has introduced Bombardier trains to mitigate delays, but increased passenger numbers since school resumed may still lead to longer intervals between trains. The company has apologized for the inconvenience and is monitoring the situation to improve service. Maintenance schedules are strict and cannot be adjusted, leading to concerns about passenger comfort during peak times.
