The interim Minister of Transport, Radu Miruță, assures that the metro will not be disconnected as negotiations for payment restructuring are ongoing. Hidroelectrica issued a disconnection notice due to unpaid bills, prompting Miruță to seek explanations from Metrorex's management regarding the overdue payments. Additionally, the Ministry is expanding its control over Metrorex's financial management, as the company has yet to approve its budget for the year.
