The identified victim is an adult woman, making her the 1,654th officially recognized victim. Experts believe this approach could help identify more victims, as there are still 47 DNA profiles that may be matched through genetic genealogy. The city aims to honor its commitment to the families of the victims by utilizing innovative identification methods.
